Last night I had a strange dream. I dreamt that all my boys to be young again. You see, my three Sons are old and there are all attending colleges and different universities. In fact, the last one just left the house this past fall. Sometimes it seems a bit quiet here, but I know that this is part of life and kids could eventually leave home. Anyways, back to my dream. I dreamt that my older son was in this bedroom lying in his bed playing with airplane onto of his airplane bedding for boys set. He is always interested in airplanes, helicopters, and basically anything that has wings.

In the next room over this brother was on the ground playing with his dinosaur set. On his bed with a very colorful set of dinosaur boys bedding. He has always been interested in these huge creatures. Maybe that’s why he is studying archaeology in college now. The dream so vivid that I can almost hear them talk. And further down the hall is my last son. Unlike the other two all he wanted to do was to play with trucks and building sets. So obviously while we were designing his room, we use the construction theme and place his boys construction bedding as the main design and focal point.

It was interesting and heartwarming. The voice I hear are those of my kids in my dream. But I know as the mother that it is time for them to go and seek their own life. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them bought them at home allowing us to decorate their bedrooms, the use of kids room decor and kids area rugs.

Cold sores in the eyes, in fact, can cause permanent damage to anyone, not simply babies. If the sores spread to your eyes, you may find yourself facing permanent blindness as they can damage your cornea. While cold sores don’t often appear on the eyes naturally, the virus can move to your eyes if you wipe your eyes with a towel or your fingers after touching it.

As you can see, a cold sore can indeed be very dangerous, especially if you aren’t careful. You should do your best to keep your hands clean; wash them frequently, especially if you touch the area around your cold sore.

I cannot believe how fast time really flies. It seem like a few days ago that my nephew Peter was born at the hospital. He was the cutest little tiny infant that I have ever seen. Couples therapy focuses on the problems existing in the relationship between two people. But, these relationship problems always involve individual symptoms and problems, as well as the relationship conflicts. For example, if you are constantly arguing with your spouse, you will probably also be chronically anxious, angry or depressed (or all three). Or, if you have difficulty controlling your temper, you will have more arguments with your partner. Often these behaviors stem from a long history of extended, albeit unconscious, family patterns. These patterns can be made known through a variety of techniques, depending upon the therapist and his or her theoretical background.

In couples therapy, the marriage and family therapist, or mental health counselor, will help you and your partner identify the conflict issues within your relationship, and will help you decide what changes are needed, in the relationship and in the behavior of each partner, for both of you to feel satisfied with the relationship. It’s important for the therapist to be sensitive to the possibility of triangulating him or her self in the dyad to prevent either party from feeling unheard or misunderstood. The therapist is not joining with an individual, but rather the entity the couple has created through their commitment to each other.

These changes may be different ways of interacting within the relationship, or they may be individual changes related to personal psychological problems. Couples therapy involves learning how to communicate more effectively, and how to listen more closely. Couples must learn how to avoid competing with each other, and need to identify common life goals and how to share responsibilities within their relationship. Sometimes the process is very similar to individual psychotherapy, sometimes it is more like mediation, and sometimes it is educational. The combination of these three components is what makes it effective.
